Children’s Commissioner publishes report of food security

The Children’s Commissioner for Scotland has published a report about the views of children living in Scotland who experience food insecurity. The report calls on the Scottish Government to ‘top up’ child benefit payments to the poorest families in Scotland and highlights evidence that finds food insecurity can have negative impact on a child’s health, wellbeing and educational aspirations.
