Who Cares? Scotland highlights importance of care system review

A leader article published on the Who Cares? Scotland website states the importance of the Scottish Government’s proposed independent review of the care system. The author believes that the participation of care experienced young people in the review will ensure that Scotland will be the best place to grow up as a care experienced child. At First Minster’s Questions this week, the First Minister confirmed that the review will be undertaken with the participation of young people and will aim to change the ‘ethos and culture’ of the system and build into it approaches that ensure positive outcomes and opportunities for young care leavers.
